What is Campus Equity Week?Campus Equity Week is coalition among faculty organizers and organizations throughout higher education. We are joined by a common focus on the increasing and exploitative contingent employment practices in our colleges and universities, and the problems deriving there from. |
Call to ActionIn late October through early November 2005, there will be coordinated activities on campuses throughout the US, Canada & Mexico. Campus Equity Week, often named Fair Employment Week (FEW), has been held regularly since 2001. |
Who is Involved?A broad coalition of faculty activists, locals, major federations and professional associations, including the American Federation of Teachers, National Education Association, American Association of University Professors and National Writers Union have come together to sponsor CEW. |

News: Educational PolicyAfter campaigning to win recognition of their union for over a year, professors at Carroll College, in Wisconsin, scored a major victory in late August, when the National Labor Relations Board ruled that unionization would not infringe on the college's religious freedom. |
