AN ACT to create 38.12 (3) (e) of the statutes; relating to: the
salaries of
technical college instructors.

This bill requires that the salary and fringe benefits of a technical
college instructor who is employed on a part-time basis be prorated
based on
the salary and fringe benefits that the instructor would receive
if he or
she were employed full time. For further information see the state
and local
fiscal estimate, which will be printed as an appendix to this bill.
The people of the state of Wisconsin, represented in senate and
assembly, do
enact as follows:
SECTION 1. 38.12 (3) (e) of the statutes is created to read:
38.12 (3) (e) If a district board employs an instructor on a part-time
basis, the district board shall ensure that the person's salary
and fringe
benefits are prorated based on the salary and fringe benefits that
the
person would receive if he or she were employed by the district
board as an
instructor on a full-time basis.
