De Anza College

Faculty in the Foothill-De Anza Community College District, with the support of their Faculty Association, will distribute Campus Equity Week buttons on a flyer to all faculty and administrators on both campuses (about 1500). They will also have tables set up in the quad at De Anza College to distribute information and talk to students and others in the college community about the issues.

We will be collecting signatures on a Petition that is being used statewide to thank the Governor, legislature, and the Board of Governors for the recent allocation of $57 million into base appropriantions for the CCC System, dedicated to PT faculty compensation equity. The Petition (MS Word Download) also urges the appropriation of additional monies until the system has reached the Board policy goal of equal pay for equal work.
