The University of British Columbia Faculty Association is planning a meet and greet at the bus loop Monday morning, with
cinnamon buns/coffee and information leaflets/posters...on Thursday we are having a sessional luncheon at the grad center on campus to encourage a feeling of community amongst the sessionals and to get people talking from different areas of campus.

The Faculty Association president has written to the University President asking for formal/public recognition of the week, and we will be putting a banner up at our student union building and posters around campus for the week. We've also asked for press coverage in our local papers.
