AFT-Oregon has asked the Governor of Oregon for a proclamation declaring the Week of October 28-November 3 Campus Equity Week. They are hopeful the governor will agree.

In addition, local chapters around the state, including Portland Community College, are planning campus events during the week.

There will be a Campus Equity Rally at noon on October 29th at Western Oregon State College in Monmouth, Oregon sponsored by the AFT local.

South West Oregon Community College Federation of Teachers at Coos Bay, Oregon is planning on distributing informational flyers.
